Uniform

I love wearing black. I'm not sure why, but over the past year I've noticed color slowly fleeing from my closet. Maybe I've become more earnest. Maybe it's because black is flattering. Whatever the case may be, I like being on the dark side.

Once I move to New York I have a feeling black will be making an appearance more than ever (with the exception of awesome faux-fur leopard coats of course.)

9 days...

9 days and counting until I'm able to escape to New York for a week. I plan to wake up and start walking in one direction until I need to turn and walk another direction. Hopefully I'll make use of that walking and apply for any and every job available at the surrounding restaurants and shops.

I do however need to keep in mind that it's currently FREEZING in NY so said walking may be limited. We'll see how I can deal I guess.

I have to say, one of the top ten reasons I'm so excited to move to New York is that they have a Topshop there now, which is unexplainably exciting for me. All the items below are from Topshop and I'm really digging the denim oxfords--- a lot.

I apologize for my blogging hiatus. I really have no excuse for my absence of posts other than that I was probably sleeping.

However, just because I haven't been blogging myself doesn't mean I’m not still wasting away at my computer drinking coffee and perusing fashion sites.

Here are some of my favorites from Elizabeth and James’ shoe collection (Some of them are from last season.) I’m currently attempting to save every penny I earn in order to move to New York, so unfortunately I only get to gape at these beauties. I’ve been staring at the killer sea foam green pumps for quite sometime now.
