I’m not too sure why I’m posting pre-fall wear considering that I’m longing for summer right now. However I couldn’t help it when I saw these new looks by The Row. It’s all very basic pieces combining leather, neutral tones, Peter Pan collars etc. To be honest, it’s nothing that exciting, but classic things usually aren’t. I feel like I’ve been dressing like this since September so I’ve decided that come springtime I’m going to make an effort to incorporate more color into my wardrobe. I’m craving graphic/mixed prints, lightweight blouses and pants, bright tones. It’s still cold and snowy here in New York so for now I’ll stick to the basics.

I’m very happy that tomorrow is Friday and even happier that I don’t have to go back to work until Tuesday, (Shout out to MLK). Below is a detailed list of what I intend to do this weekend—in case anyone cares…

1) Spend an afternoon at the Museum of Modern Art

2) Search for a new floor lamp at thrift stores/flea markets in Brooklyn

3) Make the White Bean Veggie chili recipe that I’ve been putting off for weeks

4) Go see Blue Valentine

5) GYM

6) Hang pictures in living room

7) Call my Mom

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
