Hair

Here is a picture of me with my new hair cut. It is starting to grow on me a little more. Wait, is that where that phrase comes from? People getting hair cuts they are not sure about and them "growing on them." I'm kidding that was ridiculous. Photobucket

In other news, this weekend was fantastic. I had such a good time hanging out with old friends. Yesterday Bryan and I went to lunch at this new spot True Food at the Biltmore (delicious by the way) with organic, healthy options for us vegetarians. I was sitting there enjoying my TLT (tempeh, lettuce and tomato) and reading the little pamphlet about the nutritionist that apparantly wrote the menu. As I was gazing at the Santa Claus look-alike picture I realized he was sitting right next to me! He was enjoying the same mock bacon sandwich as me. Some lady even asked for his autograph, too funny.
Afterwards I dragged my poor boyriend to go shopping and found this floral, cropped Michael Kors blazer, which has a great story to go along with the purchase. I saw it was on sale for $59.99 and was debating whether I needed it or not and Bry was giving me a hard time because of course I don't NEED it. As I was standing there, staring and pondering away the awesome sales lady came and put a new sign that said $29.99. If that wasn't meant to be I just don't know what is. Well there is my weekend shopping adventure story...

Rainy Day

My computer has been acting up a bit and as my boyfriend would say in a whispering, old woman voice "it's frustrating." You would probably have to hear it to understand/think it is funny. Anyways, it is a lovely and rainy Thanksgiving Day. I am excited to eat some tofurkey, that's for sure. I love this time of year because all my girlfreinds come home from their relocations and we all go out together and act like we are 13 again. Last night consisted of drinks at this new place in Old Town called The Lodge, it has a 'lodge' theme so picture this... Antler chandeliers, fireplaces, wood, plaid, the whole sha-bang. Then we were off to Coachhouse, which was packed. Then to good ol' Joe's NY pizza. You just can't beat it. I think it won an award for most grease. It was a fun night to say the least.

I cut off ALL my hair yesterday and I can't decide whether I feel like a boy or a Katie Holmes impersonator, the jury's still out. It is a lot darker too with some red and dark brown and a little blonde thrown in there somewhere. It will take a little getting used to. I just felt a little wild yesterday and now my mellow, non-risk taking side is saying, "what the hell did you do?" In other news, I bought a polaroid camera on Ebay the other day and I am really excited to start using it. I love how polaroids turn out. Photobucket

I was thinking about this little vintage store that I fell in love with in Amsterdam today and I was wishing there was something like it here. It was so unique with the most amazing clothes. Look how cute it is on the outside. Photobucket

I think maybe I should open a store like it someday.. Aw I can dream. Sorry for the randomness of my ideas. That is how my brain works therefore how my blogs will be.
I will put some pictures up of the new "do" once my computer starts to cooperate with me. Happy Thanksgiving!

Sometimes, I am just too damn tall.

Sometimes I wish I was just 2 or 3 inches shorter. I am 5'10 and although to many that doesn't sound like a burden, it would make my life easier. The reason being... I LOVE wearing heels. I know what you are thinking. Who cares, just wear them and flaunt it, but it gets tricky when you walk into a room and are at least a foot taller than most of the men. I know this because I am an inch taller than my 5'9 boyfriend, Photobucket so when I throw on those 4 inch heels, I tower. He always gives me a hard time because when we are walking, I comfortably throw my arm around his neck and cruise but he feels "emasculated." Poor guy, he sure puts up with me and my tallness a lot. I wonder what he would think if I showed up in these new killer Jimmy Choos... Photobucket
Anywho. I wear heels a lot more than I used to, so I might as well stand up straight (which I always need work on) and strut.

Also... look at this new suede, fringe clutch I picked up at DSW randomly enough.. So cute and cheap!

Bienvenido

Hello there. I am very excited to enter the world of blogging. It seems like such a magical place to stop by everyday. A little bit about me now I guess. I am 21 and am finishing up at ASU. I am an aspiring/current writer (I'm writing now aren't I?) and hope to delve into the other fabulous world of fashion journalism. Me and every other LC wannabe right? I've decided to start this blog so I can rant about my favorite clothes and shoes and jewelery and music and all the other wonderful things life has to offer. So hopefully somebody will like what they see.

It is such a beautiful day out here in Scottsdale and I keep forgetting it is nearing the end of November. I am wearing a sleeveless vest and tanktop and enjyoed brunch outside on a patio. We even had to move out of the sun because it was too warm. I am hoping it starts cooling down a little bit because it would be such a huge waste of my Marc jacobs peacoat now wouldn't it? Anyways, I guess I should be a little more appreciative of the lovelyness outside because it could certainly be worse right?

Well here is a little picture of me at the McDowell Mountain Music festival last year. As you can see, I was very much enjoying MoFro jam and sipping on my summer brew Sierra Nevada. Isn't life great sometimes?
