For the record

I think Sienna Miller looked stunning in her entirely Gucci getup for the premier of her new film, G.I. Joe.

Why so blue, Rihanna?

I recently purchased a dress identical to this. It's super cute and denim, but I'm not sure why Rihanna chose to accessorize with a weird, blue sleep cap looking thing and aqua heels. Fashion fail for Rihanna.

So I'm Sailing, yeah I'm sailing on

I just stumbled across this slideshow on Elle.com displaying some of Gwen Stefani's key moments in fashion. Like any girl that grew up in the 90's, Gwen has always been a style icon for me. Although I never really got into the whole Rasta thing... (yellow, red, green,) I definitely share her love for Vivienne Westwood, Sky-high platforms, leopard print and everything 90's grunge.

Schooooool's out FOR--EVER

So far my summer has been ridiculous amounts of fun. I do feel somewhat guilty for going out every night and sleeping in until noon, but that's what summers are all about. Right?

I'm still continuing the job search and since I can't find anything in my direct profession, I've resorted to picking up another part-time job here in town. I feel like retail would be a good choice considering clothes are my life and in retail you get discounts. So... my plan: pick my favorite store to shop at and apply there. I see either American Apparel or Urban Outfitters in my future.

Plus, I've always dreamed of owning my own vintage/boutique one day so it would be beneficial for me to learn the ins and outs of retail. Enjoy the day and my latest collage!

ALL THE SINGLE LADIES

It took me 22 years to finally come to this life-altering conclusion: Boys are freaking crazy, stubborn and impossible to read, yet they still drive us [girls] crazy. Don’t get me wrong; boys are super fun, but often to a certain extent. However, life just wouldn’t be as exciting if you didn’t have that one special crush that either loves you back---or crushes you.

And if a ten-ton truck kills the both of us to die by your side, well, the pleasure the privilege is mine.

-The Smiths.

In honor of my current state-of-mind, here are in my opinion, some really cool, independent women that dress amazingly.(In no particular order)

Taylor Momsen
Kate Moss
Jessica Stam

Erin Wasson
Daisy Lowe
Marion Cotillard

Rock that Body

I recommend everyone to check out Litter SF in order to find some really unique takes on body jewelry. For centuries now certain body parts have been neglected. It's true. They've envied ears, necks and fingers for getting to rock all the bling and look beautiful. Have no fear because now thighs and knees all over can feel special too... thanks to Litter SF. Enjoy the following polaroids featuring some of Litter's chicest body jewelry. Have a nice day.

The Lisa Turtles

I knew there was a definitive reason why I really like Lady GaGa... It's because she plays the KEYTAR!

My friend Stevie and I always wanted to start a band called 'The Lisa Turtles' so I could grace the world with my keytar playing skillzzz. I've never played one before, but I have a hunch that I'd be great at it. Just sayin'

Elevator Flight

I'm a big fan of Lenny Kravitz for obvious reasons and I have always had a style crush on his daughter, Zoe. She is the ultimate rocker lovechild.

When I found out she was in a band called Elevator Flight,  I had to check them out and I must say... they are pretty awesome. Check out this video from two.one.five magazine. It's full of sharp beats and jerky vocals.
Pretty rad Zoe.

Today I dig...

More Adventurous Now

Start spreading the news, Im leaving today
I want to be a part of it - new york, new york
These vagabond shoes, are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it - new york, new york

I wanna wake up in a city, that doesn't sleep
And find Im king of the hill - top of the heap

These little town blues, are melting away
Ill make a brand new start of it - in old new york
If I can make it there, Ill make it anywhere
Its up to you - new york, new york
New york, new york
I want to wake up in a city, that never sleeps
And find Im a number one top of the list, king of the hill
A number one

These little town blues, are melting away
Im gonna make a brand new start of it - in old new york
And if I can make it there, Im gonna make it anywhere

It up to you - new york new york
